BONDS

BONDS by IQOS is the accessible tier of the IQOS range: a one-piece heated tobacco device that sits below the ILUMA induction platform and runs a different heating system entirely. ROUNDHEAT wraps a heater track around the heating chamber, so the stick is warmed from the outside, through its own wall — no blade goes in, and there is no element to warm inside it. It takes ROUNDHEAT sticks: the Blends tobacco line, and Beyond, which carries nicotine without tobacco leaf.

How BONDS by IQOS works

Easy-Stick carries BONDS by IQOS itself, in three colourways, along with the sticks it takes. BONDS uses ROUNDHEAT: a heater track wrapped around the chamber warms the stick from the outside, through its own wall. Nothing enters the stick — no blade, no induction element.

What that means in practice

  • Nothing to clean. Because nothing pierces the stick, the chamber does not foul: no blade to brush, no cleaning routine. Keeping the top opening and the base vent clear of visible debris is the whole of it.
  • ROUNDHEAT sticks, as a class. BONDS devices take the Blends tobacco line and Beyond, which carries nicotine without tobacco leaf. Which of the two a market stocks varies — a question of local availability, not of fit.
  • Other sticks do not fit, in either direction. A ROUNDHEAT stick is sealed at both ends with an acetate plug and holds no metal element: a blade device would drive its heater into the plug and melt it; an induction device has nothing to couple with.
  • Session and battery. About five minutes per session with no puff limit, three sticks back to back, then a short cool-down. Around 25 sessions per charge on the first generation, 28 on BONDS 2, roughly 30 seconds to heat, USB-C charging.
  • One button, four lights. No screen, no app, no phone pairing: one button and four status lights show the battery level and count down the session.

BONDS 2 arrived in Czechia in 2026: same platform, same stick format, more sessions per charge, faster charging. Some markets sell the newer hardware under the plain BONDS by IQOS name, so the model code near the charging port is the reliable way to tell them apart. For the sticks, see Blends and Beyond.
