Ploom AURA

Ploom AURA is the fourth-generation Ploom device and the only one in the line with selectable heating. Its Smart HeatFlow chamber circulates hot air around the outside of the stick — no blade, no pin, nothing driven into the tobacco. Four modes — Intense, Balanced and Delicate, plus a Battery Saver setting — are chosen in the Ploom app, with Balanced set at five minutes from the factory. There is no screen and no button: drop in a stick and heating starts on its own, ready in 25 seconds. Takes Evo and Lyo sticks.

Ploom AURA at Easy-Stick

Easy-Stick carries the Ploom AURA from the official manufacturer in five colourways — Jet Black, Lunar Silver, Navy Blue, Rose Gold and Teal Electric Pop — each a complete device rather than the front panel of the same name. Smart HeatFlow heating, ready in 25 seconds in every mode but Intense, which takes 30.

Ploom AURA highlights

  • Smart HeatFlow with selectable modes. A sealed chamber warms the stick with circulating hot air; nothing is driven into the tobacco. Intense, Balanced and Delicate plus a Battery Saver setting are chosen in the Ploom app and never mid-session — Balanced is the factory default at five minutes, Battery Saver shortens the session to three at the same intensity.
  • Battery and charging. 1,975 mAh over USB-C: three hours from flat, or 90 minutes for about 15 sticks. The manufacturer states at least 20 sticks per charge at 25 °C, varying with mode and use, and up to three sticks back to back before a short cool-down. Wireless charging is not built in.
  • No screen, no button. An LED line shows battery, heating and session time, and vibration marks ready, the last 20 seconds and the end. Auto-Start begins heating as the stick goes in; a compression-sensitive area below the LED line handles manual start and the lock. The Ploom app adds mode selection, a remaining-sessions estimate and device radar.
  • Slim body, magnetic panel. 109.4 × 29.2 × 24.2 mm in aluminium and polycarbonate with a satin finish. The front panel lifts off magnetically — to clean the chamber, about once a month, and to re-colour the device with panels and fabric covers made for the AURA alone.
  • Stick compatibility. Evo, filled with real tobacco, and Lyo, made without tobacco but containing nicotine and sold in selected markets; in some countries the tobacco range carries a local brand name. Sticks for IQOS, glo or lil devices use other heating methods and do not fit; an Evo pack also fits a Ploom X Advanced.
