About Terea
Terea is the official IQOS manufacturer’s flagship SMARTCORE stick range, designed to replace the blade-based HEETS generation across the IQOS ILUMA platform. Each stick contains a small metal susceptor embedded inside the tobacco rod; the ILUMA device heats this element by induction, warming the tobacco from within rather than slicing a blade through it. The result is a bladeless heat cycle with no broken blades, no cleaning routine, and noticeably less residue — while the wider Terea catalogue carries forward the full flavour lineup adult ILUMA users already know.
Lineup
- Originals — tobacco-forward, non-menthol blends that amplify nuts, malt, wood, tea and toasted notes. No capsule, no menthol. Core SKUs include Yellow, Amber, Teak, Sienna, Russet, Silver and Bronze.
- Menthol — capsule-free menthol blends graded from a subtle Turquoise through balanced Green peppermint to a bold Blue cool.
- Aromatic / Wave — fruit, berry, floral and menthol-fruit fusion blends. The Wave sub-line typically delivers a flavour burst on activation (some variants use a click-capsule, others are pre-flavoured) — for example Mauve Wave berry-mint, Purple Wave grape-menthol, and Summer Wave.
- Pearls — click-to-activate capsule sticks that release a flavour burst on demand. The family covers Amelia Pearl, Starling Pearl, Abora Pearl, Twilight Pearl, Riviera Pearl and Provence Pearl.

Compatibility
Terea SMARTCORE sticks are engineered for the IQOS ILUMA platform: IQOS ILUMA, ILUMA Prime and ILUMA One, plus the second-generation ILUMA i, ILUMA i Prime and ILUMA i One. Because the induction susceptor lives inside the stick itself, Terea is not interchangeable with blade-based IQOS Originals hardware such as IQOS 3 DUO or 2.4 Plus — those devices require HEETS instead.
